A profile portrait of the poet, Anne Myles. She has short dark gray hair. She is wearing a necklace and earrings.

Hello, I’m Anne Myles.

I’m a poet living in Greensboro, North Carolina. My debut full-length collection Late Epistle is out from Headmistress Press, and my chapbook What Woman That Was: Poems for Mary Dyer was published in 2022 by Final Thursday Press. I am poetry reviewer-at-large for the North American Review, and founder/co-host of a new Greensboro reading series, Poetry on Tap.

Formerly I was a professor of English at the University of Northern Iowa, specializing in early American literature. I hold an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
